Worship with us
Sundays
We meet at the Winslow Public Hall, conveniently located right next to a large car park.
Our service starts at 10:30am and is lead by our Pastor, Colin Poyntz, and Elder, Mike Hotard.
Throughout the service, we sing worship music old and new. The words will be projected on a screen for you, so don't worry if it's one you're not familiar with! We are very grateful to have people willing to get up and lead our worship music for us.
About 20-30 minutes into the service, the children present have the opportunity to go off to their various groups, if they want to. The first Sunday of the month is usually an All Age Service, in which there are no youth groups running and we all remain together.
Sermons at WCF focus on a passage of scripture, which Colin leads us through verse by verse. He highlights the historical context, what it means and how it can apply to us today. Sometimes we follow a series and other times it is a topic that relates to present day events. It is a great way to learn about God and become more familiar with His Word.
After the service, which usually ends between 11:30 and 11:45am, there are teas, coffees, biscuits and sometimes cake(!) to enjoy. We would love for you to to feel comfortable enough to stay for refreshments and a chat.
Families at WCF
"Whoever received one such child in my name receives me, and whoever receives me, receives not me but him who sent me", Mark 9:36
We would like to emphasise that families are WELCOME at Winslow Christian Fellowship. We know that they can sometimes be noisy and unpredictable, but we believe that Jesus welcomes all and are just happy that you have taken the time to come!
We currently run two groups for children that begin about 20 minutes into our services. You are welcome to either come and stay with them or leave them in the safe hands of our volunteers. Equally, if you would rather keep your children in the service, that is totally fine - the groups are optional.
Both groups are currently held in no.92, our church building on Winslow High Street, which is a short walk from the Winslow Public Hall. We would ask that parents accompany children and then come back to collect them at the end of the service, as it involves crossing a road.

Home Groups
There are 3 home groups that meet each week - virtually and physically. These work through a Bible study, usually from the Good Book Guide, or based on the sermon series.
They are a great way to have fellowship together, get to know one another better and learn more about God.
